Paul C. Hagy, 86, of Cape May Point, formerly of Brookhaven, Pa., died at home on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026.
Paul proudly earned two master’s degrees in education, reflecting a lifelong commitment to learning. He graduated from West Chester University and received his master’s degrees from Temple University.
Mr. Hagy was an elementary school principal for the Penn Delco School District.
Paul found joy in baking cookies, pies and desserts, generously sharing them with family, friends and his many appreciative health care workers. He also took great pleasure in winemaking and making his own bread and butter pickles.
Paul loved giving gifts and supporting family. He was known as the Mayor of Princeton Avenue, and loved holding confabs on the porch, always with a good story or joke. Paul will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Son of the late Solomon Leo and Susan Marguerite (Reddig) Hagy; brother of the late John A. Hagy; grandfather of the late Nathaniel Hagy.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 61 years Joan A. (Adelman) Hagy, son Paul (Kathy) Hagy Jr. and daughter Diane J. Hagy.
Visitation is scheduled for 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Route 352, Media, PA 19063.
Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Mellinger Union Cemetery, 80 Gockley Road, Stevens, PA 17578.
