Nicholas James Bimbo, 41, of Atlantic City, NJ, sadly passed in Atlantic City on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
Nick was born on November 6, 1983 in Atlantic City and grew up in Erma and Cape May. He attended schools in the Cape May area and spent many happy years surfing on the Queen Street beach.
Nick loved soccer and spent 10 years playing soccer with the Cape Express Soccer Club. He was happiest working with children and coaching youth soccer.
Nick loved acting and comedy and spent 5 years acting in the annual “Scrooge the Musical” every Christmas at Elaine’s Dinner Theater in Cape May.
He was the original “Tiny Tim” and at 6 years old nailed that “cockney accent.” Nick loved cats and never a doubt that in another life he would be a “crazy cat lady!”
Nick is survived by his mother Joanne (Lefty) Clayton, father Joseph (Jeanne Wallace) Bimbo, brother JJ (children Brooklyn and Maceo) and the love and absolute most important person in his life, his son Nicholas. Nick is also survived by his partner Lauren Nolan and her children Des, Aubrey and Nolan. Also surviving are his Great Uncles Tony Bimbo, George McGinley, Aunts Debbie Meyer, Dawn Woodrow, Roseann (Dick) Fittipaldi and Lucille (Steve) DeHorsey, and many cousins. He will always be Uncle Spiderman to Mikey, Lilly and Georgia and the whole McGinley clan!
Nick is predeceased by his beloved Aunt Bridgey (McGinley), and grandparents, Carolyn and Roland Woodrow and Nick and Ida Bimbo.
