Beryl Marie Hamilton, daughter of the late John Collins and Ethel Watkins, was born May 15, 1933, in West Cape May, N.J. She passed away Monday, July 21, 2025, in West Chester, Pa.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Kenneth F. Hamilton, Sr. Feb. 26, 1955. This union was blessed with four children: Ken Hamilton, Jr., (Chip) of West Chester, Pa.; Suzanne Hamilton of Concord, Calif.; Donna Lee Hamilton of Humble, Texas; and Greg Hamilton of Orbyhus, Sweden.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, her six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
While Beryl was a dedicated homemaker, in her life she worked for Kennards in Wilmington, Del.; DuPont in Wilmington, Del.; Eberhart Faber in Mountaintop, Pa.; and Diablo Valley Country Club in Concord, Calif. She had a ready smile and sunny disposition for all. The charities that she contributed to are too numerous to mention.
Beryl’s beautiful life will forever be cherished not only in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but also with her brother James Collins and his wife, Jo Ann, of Claymont, Del.; Dottie Collins of Newark, Del.; Nancylee Kirkbride and her husband Charles of Cape May, N.J.; and Ronald Collins, of Cape May, N.J.; along with a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private family viewing will be held at Strano and Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE, where flowers may be sent. All are welcome to attend a graveside service at 2 p.m. July 30 at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
