NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned has applied to the Borough of West Cape May Historic Preservation Commission for a Certificate of Appropriateness. The Applicant is proposing to expand the restaurant and add one residential unit above the restaurant. The property is located at Broadway and Sunset Boulevard (Block 34, Lots 6 and 7).
A hearing will be held on this application by the Historic Preservation Commission of the Borough of West Cape May, at Borough Hall, 732 Broadway, West Cape May, New Jersey on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 6:00pm.
All members of the public will have an opportunity to offer comments and/or ask questions regarding their proposal. For those who are in opposition to the proposal, you have the right to obtain an attorney to represent you, although this is not a requirement, and would be at your expense. It is recommended for those members of the public who plan to attend the public hearing on a specific application, that the HPC office be contacted on the day of the meeting to inquire if any changes have been made to the schedule.
The file and plans of the proposal may be inspected in the office of the Historic Preservation Commission Administrative Officer, West Cape May Borough Hall, 732 Broadway, West Cape May, New Jersey during the hours of 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
